Wedding Weekender is a camcorder rental and video editing service that puts the camera in the hands of guests. We ship a fully equipped Sony 4K camcorder to couples before their big day so their friends and family can capture every candid, unscripted moment — the dance floor chaos, the happy tears, the after-party. It's been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, and Martha Stewart Weddings as a leading wedding trend.

This application is for a full-time role (remote-friendly) for a Post-Production Quality Reviewer at Wedding Weekender. We're looking for a detail-oriented creative to serve as the final quality checkpoint before our wedding videos are delivered to clients.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Perform the final review of completed wedding videos before delivery.

  • Catch technical issues such as:

    • Audio inconsistencies

    • Missing fades

    • Abrupt cuts

    • Cropping or framing problems

    • Color or exposure issues

    • Export or formatting issues

  • Verify that all requested revisions have been completed correctly.

  • Ensure every video meets Wedding Weekender's storytelling, pacing, and quality standards

  • Maintain consistent quality across every Wedding Weekender film.

  • Provide concise, actionable feedback when additional edits are needed.

  • Give the final approval for videos that are ready to be delivered to clients.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience editing video.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong creative instincts for storytelling, pacing, and music.

  • Ability to identify both technical and creative issues.

  • Efficient decision-making and time management.

  • Clear written communication when providing editor feedback.

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred.

  • Wedding or event editing experience is a plus.
